Starting school is a significant event in the life of children and their families. At Clovelly, we believe that strong relationships and information sharing between families, early childhood settings and school help support your child's sucessful transition to school.

Book at School Tour:

Our Principal Matt Jackman and the Deputy Principal, Kate Butson host school tours for families who would like to see our grounds, visit classrooms and learn about the programs we offer.

Please note that tours in 2020 are not possible due to COVID-19 restrictions. A series of virtual school tour videos have been created to provide an insight into our school.

Transition and Orientation Program

Our transition to school program is designed to support families and students during the transition from preschool to primary school.

Welcome Pack

Once enrolled, families will receive a welcome pack in the post. This pack will provide you with all the information that you will need for a successful start to school.

Orientation Days

Orientations days are an important chance to your child to have a snapshot of school life at Clovelly and for us to get to know your child. During orientation sessions, the children will meet some of our teachers, engage in fun activities and make new friends with their peers.

See Saw App

In addition to our Clovelly Pulic School administration app, the Kindergarten teachers use the See Saw app to communicate with the 2021 Kindergarten families and students. A unique code and link will be provided to each family in their welcome pack. On this app you will find information videos, and photos posted to assist in your child's transition to school.
