NSW public schools offer special religious education and special education in ethics, delivered by approved providers wherever available.
At Clovelly Public School, SRE and SEE classes are delivered on Tuesday mornings for half an hour.
- Kindergarten: 9:30 - 9:30am
- Years 1 and 2: 10 - 10:30am
- Years 3 - 6: 10:30 - 11am
On enrolment parents/carers will be given the SRE and SEE participation letter to complete and return. This is also available as a digital form via the school app.
A parent/carer may notify the school in writing that they wish to change their decision, during the first 2 weeks of Term 1 and first week of Term 3. This digital form is available on the school app.
During enrolment, you can choose a special religious education option for your child from the school’s available approved providers. You can withdraw your child from special religious education by selecting alternative meaningful activities, or special education in ethics if it’s available.
You can update your preference by writing to the school or through the online form available at participating schools.

During the time that SRE/SEE classes are being held, students not attending will be located in a separate space and will participate in meaningful activities including reading, private study or completing homework.

Catholic

Buddhism

Special Education in Ethics (SEE)
Clovelly Public School also offers Special Education in Ethics (SEE) classes for students who do not attend Scripture (SEE) classes. SEE is provided by Primary Ethics.
